StandStill Transfer Film and Adhesive Stencil Spray

STANDSTILL tattoo transfer film is a revolutionary new way of applying complex stencil designs onto your clients that’s faster and more precise than using traditional transfer paper. Based on medical technology which ensures that it’s neutral to the skin, this is a transparent, flexible tattoo film made from PVA that’s perfect for easy positioning even over difficult parts of the body, and can be repositioned without leaving marks.

This Transfer Film creates high definition stencils that allow you to fix layer by layer directly onto skin, without the crumbling or distortion found in stencil paper. Unlike traditional stencils, this film is applied to the skin and then tattooed through – for these reasons it’s largely recommended for lining work rather than colour shading and packing. As the film is water soluble, excess wiping can degrade it.

Transfer Film from STANDSTILL is compatible with inkjet printers and requires STANDSTILL Adhesive Spray to work. The Adhesive Spray is made from skin-friendly and latex-free medical adhesives.

To use:

Print your design using an inkjet printer
Spray a generous amount of STANDSTILL Adhesive Spray onto clean, dry skin
Place the film onto the skin, moving and adjusted if needed
Activate the film by lightly misting from a distance with a disinfectant spray
Tattoo through the film for lining, dabbing excess ink rather than wiping
Remove by wetting a paper towel with green soap and distilled water, placing it over the film to soak for 5 seconds, then wipe away
STANDSTILL recommends that you don’t begin with black ink, but a light to medium tone black. You may need to increase your power by a volt or two to compensate for the film, and the brand recommends that you practice first with dotwork and then lining.
